With all the exercise routines at every turn, one in particular will enhance an overall healing. Small changes to align ones physical and emotional constitution are simple and establish a strong sense of "self." This exercise is being grounded. Remaining grounded aids in releasing problems with more ease. Physical and mental imbalances that consume our "being" enhance anxiety, fatigue, hopelessness, scattered thoughts to mention just a few commonly shared instabilities.
There is a unseen mystical energy that grounds us from the base of the spine (root chakra) through our feet connecting us to the earths center.
Our bodies need this connection with the earth for optimal function. This is an exercise easily engaged just by simply making yourself conscious/aware of connecting and addressing the ungrounded symptoms.
When you feel a drop in your energy level allow yourself to acknowledge it with an open mind. Take ten to fifteen minutes from your busy schedule and find a spot where you can plant your (bare) feet in the earth, relax with a slow nasal inhale, exhaling through your mouth. With eyes closed bring your focus toward the base of your spine, now envision the pull from the earth as your self connects from your root chakra.
You may want to try a focused visual to bond you with the energy if your new to the practice of grounding.
Visualize how a tree is rooted to the earth to engage your focus, this can help if you are having a difficult start. For some people they live their entire life, rushing, scattered, unbalance, suppressing emotions and disconnected.... meaning they never become grounded, While others can have moments of being ungrounded, but can regain their "self" stability and reconnect in their grounding with natural ease. Exercises for establishing how to be present in the moment can be as simple as taking a nature walk, which is great for shaking worldly tension prior to grounding yourself in the same fashion described above. A walk all in it's self puts our being at ease due to being in Mother Natures realm, so when we add the grounding technique that bonds us at her core the positive results extend to the root of our personal core.
Allow time for one or more of the following regimes in your daily life and enlightenment will follow through the course of your busy life.
Walk barefoot to connect to the earth, be aware of your breathing because stress does create shallow breathing, eating earthy foods (unprocessed) and relaxing in an Epsom salt bath are also ways to activate your root chakra. To gain alignment with your life it's necessary to connect to the element Earth known as Grounded.
These are some very simple exercise routines you can enjoy to aid in the proper flow and balance that opens the root chakra. Connect this mystical energy that lives within to Mother Nature whom is there to nurture our being....because when it comes right down to it "Mother knows Best."
